Madhya Pradesh Technical Assistance & Scholarship Scholarship is a mptaas scholarship portal scheme for students of professional colleges. Students can avail it by scoring good marks in MP Board examination. The amount awarded under this scheme is up to Rs. 20,000 per year for 2 years (till graduation).

Category 1 – Top 100 marks holders in MP Board examination

The MP State Backward Classes swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022 (MPSBCS) is a scholarship granted to the students who have secured top 100 marks in the MP Board examination. The students who rank from 101 to 300 will be eligible for this scholarship. They must also be pursuing professional courses and must reside in Madhya Pradesh.

Category 2 – Marks scorers who rank from 101 to 300 in MP Board examination

Category 3 – Merit-cum-means scholarship for SC/ST /OBC/Minority community students studying in professional college

Students need to be in the top 100 rankers of the MP Board examination conducted by CBSE, ICSE or IITs (Indian institutes of technical education).

The candidates must have scored at least 50% marks out of total 60% marks for any one subject and must not have been given any grade lower than ‘B’ during their previous academic year(s) except when this condition is fulfilled only with respect to one subject which will not lower down their overall standing but it would be considered together with other subjects taken simultaneously by such student throughout his entire career if he qualifies in merit list through these criteria along with other eligibility criteria mentioned below:

Category 4 – Need-based scholarship for SC/ST /OBC/Minority community students studying in professional college

  • The candidate should have studied in any professional colleges or universities in India, including private institutes and under-graduate courses, after completing his/her graduation or post-graduation degree.
  • He/she must belong to SC/ST community or OBC category (other backward caste) as defined by Government of India Act 1935 and its amendments up to 1950; he/she shall not have got any other type of financial support from any source such as parents, relatives etcetera (excluding scholarships).
